MASATROX” is a music project led by me Max, the drummer from Brother Ape. Learning to play new instruments for this project is a challenge, but it’s also a new experience.

Creativity when it comes to music has not been in short supply so far. I have had a constant flow. The difficulty has been to keep up with recording all the embryos of songs. It is a constant struggle against the chores of everyday life, but you have to prioritize simply if anything is to be done.

I love to create songs, whether they are to be regarded as music is up to the listener.

But hopefully some melody that touches in some way.

However, I am not entirely alone in my delusion, to my aid I have two crows that contribute with both sound and images to the production. Even two small cat-possessed demons are involved in this process. These wrinkled creatures have posed as models for some singles I have released.

Nordic mythology and witchcraft hover like a subtle dust around the project. That’s where I got the inspiration to start Masatrox."
