Christmas Eve without snow, a so-called green Christmas, was the wrong forum for my winter album “Jolnir And The Church”. So its release on January 1st, when the snow arrived, is more fitting. As usual, there was extra work with things that didn’t turn out well during mastering. Some reverb stood out too much, so I had to go into the main mix and dampen those. But now everything is clear and sent to the distributor. The album is scheduled to be released on July 19th. The album title is ‘Träskmästarens Kråka’ (The Swamp Master’s Crow). It consists of nine songs, with the tenth track being ‘Träskmästarens kråka.’ As they say, it’s Heavy Mental Music in a nutshell....

I have polished all the tracks that I have chosen for a summer album. Also added pianos and some guitar to these, even recorded a small choir part on Neck Fire. Sounds good in the mix with a big reverb. I think all the songs have become a couple of notches sharper. Then it’s just to send it to distribution.”

My new single called SKID CROW MANUEVER, follows in the same tradition as my latest tracks. Created with guitar as the main tool. Not much of tribal viking saga backdrop. Maybe I will go back and work in that bubble some day. But not for the moment. Anyway this new song is inspired of an early memory from my youth. I was just a teenager on my first journey without parents to Greece. My mind was served nuggets of freedom and the young brain went high on the serotonin boost.

Regnet piskar Stockholms inlopp denna becksvarta december morgon. Snön som vräkte ner i November har redan sagt adjö. Nu har metrologerna viskat om kallare väder. I'm back in the flat and the studio is up and running again. “I’m working hard to finish a song with a little X-mas theme. Some bells, a hum, and a steady beat form the foundation for various questionable guitar attacks. I hope this sound mashup will be ready soon. GOOD YULE!

My new single called CASTER OF STRATOSPHERE is planned for distribution around the 21 of October. It's a bit slower in tempo than normal for my releases. Around 100 BPM for this lazy track. That suits me fine because the fingers are also a bit lazy. I still don't have access to my apartment because of some water damage. I got my home studio there. So now I work from a temporary mobile unit with bass and guitar as tools for composing. This have pushed me and my music into a different direction...

Har precis lagt de sista percusiva och tonala slut detaljerna till nästa låt. Den går i samma anda som de tre sista spåren utan några keyboard pålägg, en del fx ljud kan dock förekomma i mixen.
